Drawing Down The Moon
Preparing for winter's hibernation and dream-time
Co-facilitated with Margaret Davies
This workshop is inspired by the thought of people gathering close for the winter months, close to home, close to each other, close to the hearth, where they take time to drop inside and dream, tell stories and sing songs around the fire, whilst the darkness of the long night covers the land.
We will come into this winter dream time through dancing and singing. Using Movement Medicine to drop into our bodies, we will turn our eyes and ears inwards to find and follow the dance of our inner impulses. We will be supported to find our embodied voice, and enjoy the simple pleasure of moving and singing together. We will call on our imagination, draw down the quicksilver light of the moon, and give form, through dance and singing, to the shifting shapes of what we dare to dream. We will share and weave our stories and with a simple ritual, strengthen our inspiration.
